The little details

These ocean ombre press on nails go deep: royal blue melting into sky blue, bubble rings drifting up the surface, white scallop shells drawn in fine line, and on each hand a hand-painted portrait of a woman — blue-black hair, dark eyes, red lips and a pearl at her ear. Black bead chains curve along two nails, a purple cabochon sits in a frame of black beads with a gold star, and the marbled nails are flecked with gold foil. The long coffin shape gives the sea room to move.

Every face is painted with a fine brush and every bead pressed in by hand, so the set has the layered look of a small painting.
