The little details

These gem mix press on nails glow like stained glass when the light comes through them. Each nail is a pool of translucent colour — bottle green fading into amber and orange — with flakes of copper and gold glitter suspended inside, so the surface looks lit from underneath. A single stroke of white sweeps across every nail like a brush left mid-motion, the one calm line in all that shine.

It is Y2K in spirit: glossy, saturated, a little bit lava lamp, sharp at the tip. We paint every set by hand, pouring and tilting the colours one nail at a time, then finish it with a thick, glass-like top coat.
