3D Hibiscus Sunset Press-On Nails

These sunset press on nails are the last ten minutes of light: a marbled base in orange, coral and burnt red, with sculpted hibiscus flowers in pink and in yellow-orange spotted with red, a cream tip under one bloom, thin orange stripes under another, brown leopard spots creeping up a tip, and gold beads and pearls set at the cuticle like tiny jewellery. The almond shape keeps the flowers from feeling heavy. It is the set for a holiday, a sundress, or a plain Tuesday that needs a sunset.

Each hibiscus is shaped petal by petal from acrylic and shaded by hand, so the petals curl the way real ones do. The marble underneath is swirled wet, one nail at a time.
